Chicago White Sox

Signed IF Jorge Nunez and LHP Michael Porzio. Released OF Brett Caradonna, Mike Zuwica, David Francia and Adam Olow, 1B Scott McKee and Cs Ryan Sienko, Kasey Koslowski and Shane Scoville. Placed LHP Nik Lubisith on the voluntarily retired list.

 

Also, former Sox outfielder Jeff Abbot was released by the Mets.

    Seems odd that the Sox would release Scoville considering they drafted him just last year. Nothing surprising, though.

    Weird to see Lubisch retiring. He was solid last year. Not sure if he would of made it to the majors or not, but you never know.
