December 8, 200421 yr I know, I said that was my ideal.. get rid of dead weight for someone we need. Everett is not quite dead weight. Dead weight is having Denny Neagle or Jason Giambi under contract for 8 figure salaries while they pay $40 for a cheap hooker or get caught doing steroids. Everett is not super expensive and can actually put up decent numbers, and can play all 3 OF spots. His contract is not one that is desirable, but it is not a burden to the team either.
