picnic in the park question

Featured Replies

I know this is way early to ask, but i was wondering if anyone here has been to the sox picnic in the park at the cell....especially last year's. I was wondering if all the player's attend this and if you're able to meet all of the team and get their autographs. I know the price to attend the picnic is very expensive, but it'd be worth it if i could get a team signed ball or something then. i appreciate any help.

Hi there. I went to Picnic in the Park back in 2000 myself, made the drive to Chicago from South Carolina....and it was quite worth it. ALL of the players were there, except Jose Valentin (whom apparently got an earful about it from JR later on). You will be able to walk the entire field and meet/greet all the Sox players and coaches, and yes get autographs also. I still have my 2000 team signed ball, minus Jose Valentin :finger
