Todays game

Buehrle pitches a very nice 8 innings, giving up 0 runs and 3 hits.

Thomas, Valentin, and Alomar all go deep.

Our defense makes no errors and no mistakes.

13 hits in weather as cold as it was today is very nice, and an overall good game for the Sox.

We're now 2-3 on the year, and tomorrow we'll look to reach .500.

Can't wait to see Stewart take the hill tomorrow

They've missed a ton of chances to break it open and they are missing them just like they have done all year long.

It's only the fifth game of the year for cryin' out loud.

Yeah and they missed chances for all 5 games...Not to mention all through 2001 and 2002. Look, they won so who cares at this point. You just dont wanna see the same pattern developing that you have seen for 2 years in a row.

I am glad Stewart is going against DET in debut.

So Stewart is going tomorrow and Colon is going in the first game of the series against Cleveland?

I wish Sox had Valentin and Alomar as regulars last year from the beginning. Maybe they would have gotten off to a 11-1 Clevelend-esque start and never look back ala 2000. Val;s offense alone is 1000 points higher than Claybat's was and he is getting timely hits too :)
