Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Nolan has been offered the San Francisco 49ers head coaching job and has accepted, and the sides now are negotiating a contract.

Very good choice for them in my opinion. I think Romeo Crennel would have been a nice pick as well but I like seeing them getting some young defensive minded guys in there...especially with Nolan having previous ties to the 9ers organization. Here's to hoping they look at trading down a few spots and maybe pick up D Johnson if they plan on switching full time to the 3-4 D.
