Tulsa, OK Not only did Tulsa defender Angela Ruggiero become the first female skater (non-goalie) to play in a Central Hockey League and team-up with her brother, starting goalie Bill Ruggiero, to mark the first time in North American professional hockey that a brother and sister have served as teammates, but she became the first female to register a point in a North American professional hockey league Friday night as the Tulsa Oilers dominated the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees 7-2 at the Tulsa Convention Center.

That's a nice story and all, but women just aren't good enough at hockey at the male pro level to even marginally compete. A good 17yr old boys team in any city in Canada routinely beats the woman's national team, likely that 17 yr old team won't have any more then 1 or two players that will play hockey beyond that point. I like women's hockey more then most, but I hate stuff like this.
