Yossarian
The statement went on to say that Cuba is the only Latin American country that fights inequality and has the fairest income distribution in the world. Didn't Churchill say something about this? "Equal sharing of the misery" comes to mind. Still, he is a hero to many leftitsts here.
Kid Gleason
And isn't Cuba actually considered a "paradise" by some uninformed people nowdays?

Well, it isn't overrun with "ugly American" tourists.
Kid Gleason
I know, but for awhile there it was hip and cool to do Cuban themed bars and restuarants. I remember seeing stuff on TV about how people were clamouring for all things Cuban and the youth was NOT realizing what the place was really like. Yossarian
QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Mar 18, 2005 -> 11:46 AM) Who on here? I was unaware. "Here" being the operative word. You know kind of like Clinton with the word "is". Actually I meant "here" in a much more general sense as in "here" in the good old USA, not necessarily "here" at good old Soxtalk.
