Pitchers a pleasant problem for Sox

McCarthy, Walker creating a stir in Spring Training

After stellar performances from the minor league phenom and the left-handed reliever, who was the first free agent signed by general manager Ken Williams during the past offseason, Guillen plans on doing the unthinkable and breaking camp with 13 pitchers.
:o

Actually, that scenario was something Guillen joked about Sunday after the White Sox's 4-3 loss to the Angels. But he now finds himself with a very pleasant problem to figure out during the final two weeks of Spring Training.

I think it is the correct thing to do, to go with as many pitchers possible. We all know Contreras on his good day will last 6 innings, Garland could go 8 innings one day and then be out in 2 innings the next day, El Duque could have his right arm in his left arm while pitching any given day and Buerhle, while declared ok now as per latest update, could still have lingering issues.
