March 31, 200521 yr I am beginning to research LCD Tv's and am looking for input as to what one should look for when deciding on one. I have seen a lot about the Dell TV's, some good, some bad, but it's hard to make a decision on one of those without even getting to see the picture. I am looking to get one in the 30 to 32 inch that is wall mountable for my room. I know there are a few Soxtalkers out there who know something about LCD TVs, so I am enlisting your help. Just some information to guide my search or feedback on any specific LCD TV would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
March 31, 200521 yr If you have the money for a Dell I would do it, if you have to finance I wouldn't. Dell is the worst company I have ever dealt with, bar none. Their customer service is all out sourced to India, and no one makes any sense. They are a nightmare to deal with.

March 31, 200521 yr Samsung has awesome clarity and performance...I would say go to a store like Best Buy or Fry's and check out several ones and see for yourself which one you like best.
March 31, 200521 yr aboz, I don't know a ton about LCD's other than a friend of mine had a big asses Sony and it was the best TV I have ever seen. He sold it and bought a 42" plasma, which is nice and much smaller in terms of space, but not nearly the TV. Look at the resolution of the TV's. I don't think all LCD's are equal in that regard, but I could be wrong. Also, if you have a bit more space, you might look at some of the new DLP's. I hear they are more economical, yet as good according to some people. Let me know what you end up doing and how you like it. I may be looking for one in the 26" range within the next six months.
