April 6, 200521 yr http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/6685/news Apr 5 Reds utility player Ryan Freel was charged with drunken driving hours after the Reds beat the New York Mets 7-6 in their season opener, the Associated Press reports. Freel was arrested in a northern Kentucky community, across the Ohio River from Cincinnati and was charged with careless driving and having an open container in his motor vehicle. He posted bail around 3 a.m. Tuesday morning and is scheduled for arraignment on Wednesday. The Reds organization made no comment in regards to the incident. Views: Freel scored 74 runs, stole 37 bases last year, and was in position to build upon his success before this incident. We'll keep you posted on how the situation develops, but you shouldn't be counting on Freel until the situation is resolved. So it's true that after a team wins a game they go out and piss it up?
