Is it just me or does Sosa look different at the plate just a bit. Maybe his front foot is out further and his build looks more slender maybe. He just appears to have a different feel to him at the plate-could be closer to it.

I'll add this point to the thread from a different game so I don;t have to create a new one. I keep hearing about how A-Gone doesn't walk enough for Florida, and he sure doesn't. But, couldn't you argue that walks for the 8th place hitter are overrated int he NL since you have the pitcher behind you? Isn't it a grip it and rip it situation?

His stance looked the same to me. I dunno, what do you think looks different?

I saw in the paper that SamME took another pitch off the melon last night, and then later in the game he did his beloved Ground Rule Double Hop! He thought he "got all of that one", but it bounced on the track and over the wall.
