Good news for Minny, not so good for everyone else;

A second doctor examined Carlos Silva's knee and agreed with the Twins' team physician that it may not be as severe an injury as initially thought.

There is a chance that Silva could return to the rotation within a month, but the Twins are still seeking out additonal opinions. ''He's got a torn lateral meniscus,'' general manager Terry Ryan said. ''Whether he has to have this [surgery] immediately and how long he'd be out, I get the impression that is it not as severe as originally thought. It could be the sort of injury that you could pitch with.'' Apr. 12 - 8:35 am et
