April 21, 200520 yr Not a bad move at all for the Raiders considering Jolley was going to lose playing time to both Courtney Anderson, an excellent blocking TE and Teyo Johnson, a big athletic TE with good hands.
April 21, 200520 yr I know the Jets really wanted to grab a TE, so this might be one of those rare cases where both teams go home happy. If the Raiders think they can get someone at pick 26, then it's a good deal all around.

Miller is going to be the better TE in the NFL, but the Jets also grab a second rounder and two sixth rounders. That's a good deal. They could still grab Alex Smith of Stanford in the 2nd round if they wish or a guy like Joe Dreesssen from Col. St. in the sixth.

I just hope the pack have a good draft and get campbell or frye in the second rnd

Minnesota trading #7,#18, and a mid round pick to Miami for #2 and Washington has contacted the top 4 draft spots about trading up, but I dont know if they have any ammo to do so
