Pena will serve in another capacity within the Royals' organization. But when Guillen was asked if he would hire his comrade if an opening hypothetically became available, once again, the White Sox manager answered strongly in the affirmative.

 

"I would talk to Kenny. I know Kenny loves him," Guillen said. "I think Jerry had a great relationship with him. If something opened in our organization, I would be more than pleased to have him here."
