May 13, 200520 yr Does anyone know whats the status of Jon G's contract? I know El-Duque, Buerhle, Garcia, and Contreas are all locked down for next year but im pretty sure Garland will be the only free agent? Will it be restricted or unrestricted. And if unrestricted, what are the odds of re-signing him? He's having an awesome year and I think KW should reward him with a solid 3 year deal- similar to Buerhle's contract. Not that I want to think about next year already (with this years success) but im sure its in the back of the mind of many other Sox fans as well. Anyone with info on this matter please put your two cents in. GO SOX!!!

Garland is arbitration eligible next year, so the Sox have control of him for 2006.

I still think KW should reward him with a solid 3 year deal.
