Queen Prawn
The Muppets' Wizard of Oz is premiering on ABC 7 at 7PM tonight. Ashanti stars in this lively spin on the classic about an aspiring singer from Kansas who goes over the rainbow and down the yellow-brick road with Kermit, Gonzo and Fozzie Bear as the Scarecrow, the Tin Thing and the Cowardly Lion. Miss Piggy costars as all four witches. Auntie Em: Queen Latifah. Uncle Henry: David Alan Grier. Oz: Jeffrey Tambor. I heard one quote from the movie by Pepe, "What happens in the Emerald City, stays in the Emerald City." (Pepe is playing the role of Toto lmao.) I can't wait! Palehosefan
I'm a Muppets fan also. Seeing Beaker squeeking and shaking in terror then getting tossed around the room gets me every time. I also love the chef "Here squirrely squirrely squirrely".
Queen Prawn
The Chef rocks! I have the Chef's Kitchen playset at home and two Chefs. My favorite is "Chickie in da basket!"
CanOfCorn
I just can't watch the muppets anymore. It makes me so sad not to hear Jim Henson's Kermit, Rolf, etc. Brian Henson does a great job, but it's just not the same. And yes, I did cry when Jim Henson died.
