Fantasy pickups of the week

Featured Replies

This thread is for all us fantasy junkies. If you know of any diamond in the rough pickups place them here. I am doing great in my league for picking up players like Turnbow, and Lyon. I'll start off.

Need closers? We seen Graves get demoted. So everyone should know to get Ryan wagner.

two other closers to look at is : Adam Bernero ATL

Huston Street OAK

If you need closers, grab these guys fast!!

Two starting pitchers that should fair well this week are Chris Capuano of the Brewers and Bruce chen of the Orioles.

The next Brandon Lyon = Tyler Walker.

Put Todd Jones in there. 6 saves, 1.36 ERA

Capuano's line from tonight's start:

IP      H      R      ER      BB      K      HR      Season ERA

8.1  3   1   0    2    6   0     3.09

Told you Capuano would own.

Jones might be out of the closers role with Mota returning this week. However, Mota was struggling so who knows.

damn whats up with the Reds closer situation? I heard that Wagner was supposed to be the closer now, but weathers got the save tonight, wtf?

The Reds were probably showcasing Weathers to trade him to the Cubs.

If oliver Perez is available in your league , get him now. He was struggling all year. so he may be available in your league. Last year he had a 2.98 era and 239 K's in 196 innings. He's pitching in cincy tonight. If he has a good game he will be picked up fast.

IP H R ER BB K HR

O. Perez (W, 3-4) 5.1 3 2 2 5 8 1

His line for tonight. He obviously needs to get the walks down, but 8 k's in 5.1 innings is great.
