Mike Morse called up to the Mariners

Featured Replies

Wow, that's crazy. I was disappointed to lose Morse, and I'm interested to see what he does. Although, it doesn't look like he was really tearing up the minors this season--so we'll see.....

Seems a little early to me. From everything I heard he's very talented but he's still very raw but I guess since Seattle has had so much injury trouble at short that they're rushing him.

Well here's the rotoworld one.

Mike Morse - SS - SEA

The Mariners called up SS Mike Morse from Triple-A Tacoma.

“It hasn’t sunk in yet,” Morse said. “I feel like I’ve been doing good, but you’re always surprised when something like this happens.” Seattle shortstops are dead last in the American League with a combined OPS of .500, so expect Morse to get major playing time. May. 31 - 10:47 am et

I wish the best of luck to Mike and hope he does well.

Good luck Mike!!!

Watching the game tonight, Morse got to pinch hit with 2 outs and a runner on third. He struck out swinging, but he was probably just nervous. Best of luck Mike.
