This is a fairly far out op-ed, but there is an interesting part in here about some of the tenets of Al Qaeda.

 

One of the things they teach is to use the US media for "spreading rumors and writing statements that instigate people against the enemy" and that "brothers must insist on proving that torture was inflicted on them by State Security."
