April 26, 200322 yr HSC ... I wouldn't disagree at all with Frank playing a little 1B. Take his mind off hitting a little bit ... I read somewhere his hitting stats are much better when he plays the field vs. being DH. Konerko has something wrong with him, and you can see he absolutely beats himself up mentally when he lets a good pitch go by for Strike 1. It's got to be tough to hit when you're constantly beating yourself up ... not to mention giving the other pitcher more confidence.
