A spoiler perhaps? this happens with detroit every year..they start out april with , if they are lucky 5 wins..then towards the end of april -beginning of may teams cant even get motivated to play them and they start to sneek up on teams and put a winning streak together...then teams go hey these guys are playng good we betetr wake up against them..then t hey lose 10 ina row and are back in the cellar for good

I just wish they did what Cleveland did last year. Go to Comiskey and the season goes down the drain. Last year it worked like a charm. This year might be a little tougher. But seriously does anyone expect to see the Royals in the playoffs? Not me...

Not a spolier. The Tigers will get their wins - if not the expected 60, at least 50. So they'll beat everyone. That's why all the crying because we are "only" 5-1 against them was just a tad much. No one (hardly ever, if it has ever happened) will win all 18-19 games in a season against a division opponent so not end of the world that we lost one to Detroit, as have the As and the Mariners. But spoiler, no. Just a team that if everything goes right with their plan, a team that is 4-5 years away but will take their lumps this season.

What really sucks though is that we don't play KC again until late July, so we have no control over how they do. I know that we can only control our games; but, it would be nice to be able to beat their brains in earlier than late July.

I'm still pissed as hell about the fact that we got our asses beat the first time around. I think that's what KC is gonna do all year long....beat teams the first time they play them...and then get beat, or the games will be a little closer atleast, the second time around. The first time we played them....we got swept. The second time we played them....we won 2 of 3...and are responsible for half of their losses. I hope we aren't responsible for half of their losses come September.
