Yawn, this game is boring.

The only thing that could make this sweeter is for Tad and Frank to get on base for a 3 run jack by Paulie.

I am a great game-thread starter. I'm making tommorrows too.

the only good thing about a cubs fan is that he/she is also a bulls/bears fan!

This is a thing of beauty. Nothing like a good rout to demoralize these scrubs.

Iguchi walks with two down for willie.

I wonder if Dusty will complain that we ran up the score.

Yeah because he gets more grief...

Wellemeyer had a 3.22 era coming into today. As it stands right now he has a 4.74 era.

He'll probably blame this treatment by the White Sox for ruining the rest of the Cubbies season.

I hope he's stupid enough to say that because he'd never live it down.

The only way this game really matters is to back it up over the weekend. Period.

Despite the runs, I think the story of this game is Freddy. dude has been DOMINANT.

3 hits!!!!!!

I think I can safely say -----

It's nice we got our 50th win of the season against the f***in' Cubs.

Exactly! We've seen it time and time again - the Sox beat the crap out of an opp in the first game then fail to score the rest of the series. I have a feeling though this year it's gonna be a different story...

Cotts was the last pitcher on the staff to give up a HR. Good job, Neil.

Wow, that's an amazing stat. Good for him.

I will say this too (then I got to get on the road to home)...

The weather's hot, and the Sox bats come alive. Happens every year like this. I don't know why I always worry in April when it's cold.

Difference is this year we have a pitching staff to back it up. Ain't that a nice thing to have after all this time?

Anyway, I'm off to home. Check back in later...

And assuming they win today... HELL YEA!

I hate to admit I visit the dark side, but I enjoy reading the Cubs forum when they're getting shelled. They basically called it "game over" when it was 2-1. It looks like they were right. It must suck to be a Cubs fan.
