The $322B figure is greater than the GDP of 88 nations in the UN. It represents almost 1% of the world's GDP.

 

What I'd like to know is where does the other $108B come from? Are those institutional sales? It's probably impossible to do anything about the street traffic but I would think something can be done about the rest.
