AS probably the biggest supporter of getting Randy Johnson to the Sox during the offseason, I'll tell you how I remember it.

 

-KW says the Sox will no longer try to trade for RJ because his sources tell him he doesn't want to come to Chicago.

-Johnson's agent Alan Nero talks to the Arizona brass during the winter meetings and tells MLB.com that Randy never denied wanting to go to the Sox because he was never asked.

-Acouple days later after the meeting between the Arizona bosses and Johnson's agent, USA Today (sports Weekly) reports that RJ is willing to come to Chicago if the D'Backs and SOx agree on a trade.
