Memo to Mike Ditka, a restaurant owner who was so smokin' mad about a proposed city smoking ban, he showed up at City Hall Tuesday and scorched the City Council: What? *Sneedless to say: If Mr. Cantankerous thinks the smoking ban is so onerous, then why isn't he making a big stink about the smoking ban at his own golf club -- Bobolink --which has banned smoking in their clubhouse in accordance with recent Highland Park law? *The big ban: Of course, the Highland Park club also bans women from setting foot on the grounds . . . and word is the club is also minus African-American and Jewish members. "Our membership is confidential," said Art Arcangelo, a club spokesman. "Our manager will have to call you back." We're waiting . . . and we won't have a stogie while we are doing so.
