The fraternal grandparents say the mother had a history of mental illness and that, since she had a miscarriage a couple of years ago, she hadn't been the same person. The grandparents told NBC5 that they were so concerned at one point that they asked the mother's doctor if she was a threat to her children, but the doctor, they say, said no. :headshake
