keeper league trade: Street for Burnett??

Featured Replies

I have been offered A.J. Burnett for Huston Street in my keeper league, and i'm not sure if i want to pull the trigger.

Even though Burnett is 6 years older than Street, not many closers have been successful year after year after year. Then again, AJ is very injury prone.

In my league, you can play 5 starters and 3 closers per week.

my current starting staff consists of: Tim Hudson, Jeremy Bonderman, Danny Haren, Roy Halladay, John Garland, Javier Vazquez, Chris Capuano, Chris Young.

closers: Huston Street, Dustin Hermanson, Derrick Turnbow and Danys Baez.

Would AJ really be that much of an upgrade to my pitching staff? How worse is it to start Baez over Street each week? Do i really want to trade for a guy 6 years older and injury prone?

those are the questions I'm pondering.

Opinions?

keep street period, get rid of chris young, he cant go more than 5 innings and he gives up too many runs
