August 18, 200520 yr I could really use that free $50 dollar thing where if you (meaning me), invites a friend, and that friend deposits $25 bucks, then I get $50 bucks? Any takers? But seriously, I'm pissed. They do this quick-ass flop on Pacific, and I seriously think I got f***ed over. I had about 1000 chips or so, and I go all in with A-3, and I see the other guy has A-8. Flop comes, 2-4-5 -- actually, this is when I move all in -- and, he, for whatever reason, calls. Then, it just went by so fast, and I end up splitting the pot (this was a freeroll). Then, on these two back-to-back hands, I go all in on the first one with A-J after the flop had come J-4-J. The guy calls me with J-5. Turn is a blank, river is a 4 -- so he lucks out with a split pot. Next hand, I go all in after the flop had come A-J (and a low card), and the guy calls me with the exact same hand. I'm so pissed, because I came in like 350th place out of 2000 people which is pretty good. Sometimes, though, I feel like the world is out to get me.
