What is a CAPTCHA. Thats the little image that you get on certain sites like ticketmaster, yahoo and others that makes you read the image and type in the contents in a box to verify that you are a person.

It was designed to keep Bots from autosubscribing to sites and basically taking them over. The idea is that this technology will keep the humans in and the bots out.

 

Well, as security researchers are sneaky bastards :) a few of them have figured out flaws in this technology and are starting to post proof of concepts on how to crack this. Nothing out in the wild yet with this.
