Some other sox fans I have talked to seem to think this team has simply lost its focus and selfless attitude of the past. With Buehrle's complaining of the Rangers hitters and "special light" to Paulie's recent contract talks in the media, and from Iguchi's recent article in the S.Town saying he is more happy has a 3 hitter, to Gloads constant complaining about playing time and spending the year at AAA. Has this team really lost its focus, lost the stride and attitude which made it succesful. This was something me and a lot of others were so sure wouldn't happen with Ozzie at the helm. Whether the sox are the same sox or not, something just does seem a little off (maybe it just El Duque's +5 era)!
