keep in mind the context is that this was written BEFORE we won today. however, he picked the Padres to beat the Cardinals which is just getting too cute for your own good. Kind of taints his praise for us if you ask me

not a bad synopsis at all, I see it going much the same way...minus the padres over the cardinals. i just don't see an impotent lineup and flawed pitching staff beating the st. louis cardinals...though i guess the padres do have a nice bullpen. anywho, doesn't matter how iffy the birds have thrown of late, they'll get it done.

 

i just hope the cards don't win it all...they scare me.
