i saw this column today on espn's homepage and thought it was pretty interesting. a few months back espn hired former new york times journalist george solomon to be it's ombudsman. an ombudsman is basically and in-house quality control person.

 

anyhow, i just saw the column and it is pretty good. i thought it might be interesting for folks, because i know a lot of people here really don't like espn's coverage of a lot of things. this also might be the guy to air your grievances to if you got em.
