Newspaper pics.

Not real swift on much computer graphic stuff, but was wondering how to do the following. Every so often I see a picture in the paper that I wish I had a copy of , or wanted to download. Here's the issue. If there is a particular Sox picture that I see in the paper (say...Sun-times... for example). I'l go to the Suntimes sport section sight, but it only shows the text that is in the article, and not the picture that is with it in the actual newspaper. But yet, the next day, I'll see someone post a clear picture in a thread that is the same picture that I saw in the paper the previous day. 1) How do you get the picture if it's not on the newspapers websight, so as to be able to be able to download/print a copy of it? Thanks!!!

Every Sox pic you ever wanted from this season is in here.  The later in the thread, the later in the year it is.

Thanks for the reply and link. But also for a learning process, any help on the how-to's of the rest of my previous posting from getting the images from the paper to the computer if the pictures are not even listed on the newspapers sight in the first place??

I guess since no one really gave me the info on the "How-To" part, that it's either a little trade secret, or an "Under-the-table" no-no that cannot be posted! In laymans terms....."Am I in the right ballpark?" Any hints on how I can learn, whether through an e-mail, or what I can possibly ask a "techy" where I live?

If not, it's cool! Don't want to have a Sox family member catch any unnecessary static from people in higher places. Until I do learn, If I see a pic in the paper that interests me in the future, I'll put in a request for it. Thanks anyway guys!!

What were you wanting?

Mostly I have AP photos in the thread.

A few Getty Images pics.

Had a couple of good shots of Konerko and Buehrle. It was a while back and don't remember if it was from the Times, Trib, or Southtown. Anyway, if anything comes up that looks inviting, I'll check the board. If I don't see it, I'll give you a holler. One thing I wish that was in photograph POSTER form was the back cover of The Times Tuesday Oct 18. What a phenomenal graphics job on the 4 Sox pictures made into Mt Soxmore. Since it's not in poster form, I'll probably just get it laminated and framed.
