Dan
QUOTE(Princess Dye @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 01:06 AM) and this is a different level from VERY GOOD (also in caps though) a very underestimated Willie Harris. 2for2 WS at bats i believe. Crazy Carl for a strong bat and heavy mouth towards Garner!
skidoochic
How about A.J.? Early in the postseason he was so important with his heads up play on the "no catch" and all his other controversial plays and how about his game calling? The guy is a stud! Jordan4life_2007
Everyone stepped up and played a role in winning this. If you're asking for the four guys who stood out the most, I'd have to say Konerko, Crede, A.J, and Pods. The starting pitching goes without saying. heirdog
The left side of the infield (Crede and Uribe). #8 and #9 hitters delivered big time in the post-season from the plate and unbelievably took their already stellar defense to a new level. SoxFanForever
Hell, even Marte looked amazing in his last appearance in the WS.
BigEdWalsh
Uribe's glovework was sensational. I knew he was good, but my god he was unbelievable. Kinda reminding me of Brooks Robinson in I think it was 1966. Just one great play after another, almost making tough plays look routine. And Dye with hit after hit and some walks too. Maybe the best move Ozzie made all year was putting Dye in the 3 spot and leaving him there.
