For Illinois Fans: great montage of IL vs. AZ game

Featured Replies

I thought this thread deserved more attention. I've had this sitting on my desktop for a few days now and I can't help but watch it every now and then. The game and music from The Thin Red Line (or Pearl Harbor) give me chills.

I also never noticed some of the irony in some of the PBP statements. Around 1:52 in the video they say "Illinois can not panic" yet numerous three's rained down in order for us to just tie the game. Around 1:58 you can hear them talking about how the Illini offense is unbalanced and shooting too many 3's. That I found most interesting since it would be their eventual downfall against UNC. That and a no-show by Augustine.

thanks for linking this guys.

I'll never forget that game.

I will never forget that game. I thought Illinois had no shot to come back because of how the lived off the 3 Pointer (I thought that was a reason they didn't win the National Championship) but it just shows you the heart that they had.
