Well, it's pretty much the sane thing....you know, celebrating the birth of Christ but the Serbian Orthodox religion uses the old calendar which is 2 weeks behind so our holidays are normally 2 weeks after Catholic holidays. And recently, Serbians have started a tradition to celebrate New Years on the 13th and 14th of January.
