Just got this from my sales rep:

Individual-game tickets to 2006 White Sox home games at U.S. Cellular Field, originally scheduled to go on sale January 27, will go on sale Friday, February 17 at 10:00 a.m. online at whitesox.com, through Ticketmaster phone lines at (312) 559-1212 and (866) SOX-GAME and at Chicagoland Ticketmaster outlets.

Did they give a reason why? I would think they'd want to have tickets available for sale during Sox fest.

Probably because Season Ticket sales went through the roof.

Will the date that split season holders can purchase change?

Yes everything got pushed back. I received an email from my rep saying that that date would be during the week of February 13th.

DAMMIT, why'd they have to go and win the World Series????

Things were so much easier when they were a second-place team every year!!!!

Just thought I'd say it before someone said it and meant it..... :D

I am disapointed they eliminated the Minnie 9-game plan. Last year I sat in the lower bowl for every game. Looks like if I have to buy individual tickets, it will be all upper deck.

On another note, we will have to retrain our ears. When Hawk or Rooney used to say things like, "good crowd on hand" or "lively crowd tonight," that was usually Sox Speak for 15,000.

Boisterous crowd = 13000

Lively crowd = 15000

Good crowd = 17000

Big crowd = 22000

We had a big walkup = 25000

Huge crowd = 27000

Full house = 30000

Packed house = 35000

Not a seat left in the house = 37000
