That was an UGLY fall he took. For those of you not watching the game, he was running to 1st base on a grounder in the hole between SS and 3B, and as he lounged for the bag, his foot slipped on the base (it's been raining), and he hyperextended his knee, and it could have been BAD.

He's actually up and walking now, and he's staying in the game.

*Whew*

Goddamn.

He may have little range defensively....but he's been our most consistent hitter all year, and losing him would hurt.

Now that I know he's OK....was he safe? :)

LOL.

He was called safe.

The Indians announcers said he looked out though.

But he stayed in the game and scored on Frank's 2-run bomb. :)

Damn, he finally tries hard and gets possibly hurt for it?

If we win this game by 1, that hustle by DJ is f***in huge.

Oh great. Next time he needs to hustle hes gonna think, "Heck no. Last time I did that I almost killed myself"...

Ummm....Jimenez hustles every time down the line. I've seen him leg out quite a few hits thus far this season, so lets not jump onto the he doesn't try bandwagon. :D

He has a reputation to be kinda lazy. But Im not jumping on any bandwagon. Ive been a DJ supporter since the day he came up with us last year...

I understand reps, but in this case he doesn't deserve it. I never see him dog it. He made that one lazy throw and about two bad baserunning mistakes (In same game; He's a very agressive runner though) but he works hard.

Like I repeat, you can't come back from a broken neck without working hard.

I dont actually watch a lot of the games so all I see is stats and effort reports I get from people here. DJs stats make him good in my eyes, but everyone here seems to dislike his lack of effort. But with all the Miles supporters, I can see why...

From what I've heard and what I understand....he is lazy defensively....not offensively.

He is f***in awesome with the bat.

it doesn't matter jas, he's been hustling all year, people don't care though, they just like to go by one players comments in the past.

make this the third time Jimenez got hurt this year and still stayed in and played. a lot of players would've been on the bench right now.

How about, "What did you want me to do? Dive for it?"
