MLB.tv question

Featured Replies

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I wasn't all too sure, so I apologize in advance. My roommate and I are considering purchasing mlb.tv for the 2006 season. With all the fantasy leagues we each have going, we thought, hey why not? My question is this:

If I'm logged in from home and he wants to log in as well from work, will it work for both or will only one of us access it?

Thanks

From my experience with it two seasons ago, you both will be able to have access at the same time. I remember logging onto it with 2 computers at school and my friend logged on from his house all at the same time.

Just be forwarned: MLB TV tends to freeze up alot.

Only if your internet sucks. I haven't had any problems with it, and had it during the second half of last year and all of this spring training.

You should be ok if it's just two people. I tried last year with 3 and inevitably someone would get locked out. Also, if you use more than one computer, make sure you sign out completely on one before using the other. Tell your friend to do the same. They will recognize you as logged in even if you're not watching, and if there are 3 logins, you could get locked out.

i have it . i hate it, but i need it. I have good internet and the thing just freezes every game. Also it can get delayed.....

either way i get to watch sox games from georgia

I hate how this area is blacked out. I really would love to have it for April and September, when I don't have CSN. But from what I understand, the Sox games would be blacked out.

I can't hear today's game, but I do have the radio thing, that came with the Sox Pride package. That was mainly the only reason I bought that.

Thanks for all the info guys, we got the package and were both able to access games yesterday. I have a cable modem, so I didn't experience any delay. As for the blackout policy, maybe they lifted it this year. I was able to watch the Cubs game even though it was on WGN and also able to watch all the games that were being televised on ESPN, which I thought would also be blacked out.

Where'd you register from or live?

I haven't looked into it this year, just assuming the same rules carried over. I'll have to check it out, otherwise.

I live out in Sycamore, it's by DeKalb. So maybe that had something to do with it?

Hm, possibly. Thanks. I'll have to take a look at it when I get back later today.
