June 1, 200322 yr That fool Rogers. Im surprised he got signed by anyone. Glad he took his crappiness to Minnesota and not to the Southside...
June 1, 200322 yr That fool Rogers. Im surprised he got signed by anyone Kenny Rogers, last season, had an ERA of 3.84, won 13 games, and he pitched 210 2/3 innings. Why would you be surprised that he was signed?
June 1, 200322 yr Kenny Rogers, last season, had an ERA of 3.84, won 13 games, and he pitched 210 2/3 innings. Why would you be surprised that he was signed? Because he was an aging pitcher asking for a ton of money. Either way, this season he looks like crap. And since its for the Twins, I couldnt be happier...
June 1, 200322 yr Because he was an aging pitcher asking for a ton of money. Either way, this season he looks like crap. And since its for the Twins, I couldnt be happier... He is 4-1 this year with a 4.31 era before today. I'd hardly call that "Crap" http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/prof...le?statsId=3974
June 1, 200322 yr Because he was an aging pitcher asking for a ton of money. Either way, this season he looks like crap. And since its for the Twins, I couldnt be happier... Kenny Rogers in 2002 -- 13 wins, 3.84 ERA, 210 2/3 IP Jamie Moyer in 2002 -- 13 wins, 3.32 ERA, 230 2/3 IP Those numbers are pretty close to each other. Both are "aging". Are you surprised that Moyer is still in the majors? BTW, Jamie is making $6.5M this season. Rogers is making $2M.
June 1, 200322 yr OK, Im just mad that he rejected us. But for the amount of money he was asking for, his current stats, which have probably gone to crap with this most recent games, arent very good...

June 1, 200322 yr Kenny Rogers has been pulled from what has to be his worst major league game of his career. 1 1/3 IP, 10 hits, 7 ER, 0 BB, 1 SO. His ERA goes from a decent 4.31 to 5.20. Yikes.
June 1, 200322 yr don't back down - K Rogers is crap despite whatever record he has right now Don't worry, the wind just changed
June 1, 200322 yr 6-1 Mariners. Jacque Strap with a solo shot. Hawk and DJ's scores are about a half hour behind. It's 7-3 Seattle, but the Twins have 2 on with 0 out.
