anyone know how far each of them went because for sure we crushed a few and I was not able to see how far they flew

Actually this raises an interesting point. Sometimes you see the distances reported in the game recaps, which leads me to believe there's a semi-official stat kept somewhere. MLB could probably generate some additional fan interest if it kept track of this stat and you could compare your favorite players by not just home runs but total distance, etc.

 

Just some idle musing for my 100th post!!!

yea that would be pretty cool. At the end of the year you can see how far your favorite player hit a home run. What his best and not so great home run was.

Thats a good idea!
