Charlotte's Hot Start

Featured Replies

Razor Shines seems to be a pretty good manager. Sweeney is coming around, Rogowski is hitting well, Haeger, Lopez, etc. This could be a really good team. Especially if Sean Tracey throws a few more strikes and Jerry Owens starts hitting.

Its really nice to see Charlotte doing well for once. Razor is one of those guys that takes no guff and gets the most out of his players. They seem to play fundementally out of him and he wins.

I'd think someone would take a long hard look at him over the next couple years when it comes to offering him a major league job.

You and Aboz were looking for interview ideas when Charlotte came to Louisville. I think Razor would make a great candidate.

The Knights are off to their best start ever (as a White Sox AAA team) :cheers

I'm glad to see Rogs and Sweeney starting to hit.

Razor Shines also has the best.name.evar. Even better than Oil Can Boyd.

Razor impressed me the most in 2004 when he took a Barons team that had no prospect talent and defeated teams like Montgomery who had Gaithwright, Upton and a Huntsville who had Gwynn, Fielder and Weeks plus Mobile who had Ben Johnson and Josh Barfield. Getting that team to the playoffs with that much talent on the other teams was amazing.
