May 8, 200619 yr It didn't bounce off his head, sorry, it bounced off his glove. Same concept though <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sosa did that twice in 2001. At Dodger Stadium, he caught a fly, and lifted his glove up. The ball popped out and went into the stands for a HR. At Comerica, he would've robbed Macias of a HR, but he hit the ball over the fence with his glove The best blopper I've seen, is in 2004 where Charles Thomas goes after a ball, knocks it up w/ his glove, then accidently hits it over the fence. A fan then reaches for it right when it goes over the fence so Thomas can't rob the batter

May 8, 200619 yr I was there sitting third base side some what by the foul poll in section 155. I thought the ball was gone as soon as it left Crede's bat but then I saw it die down and I figured it was going to get caught. Then all of a sudden I see the ball come down hit the wall or the warning track and bounce out of play. The fire works are going off and the Kiss him goodbye steam song is playing and I look to see Crede making his way around the bases. I said out loud that should have been a ground rule double. But I didn't care what the umps ruling was at the time, it was their mistake. I said "hey if it works in our favor." But the umps had their little meeting by second base and Crede was told to go to second. :banghead Edited May 8, 200619 yr by WinningUgly85
