The Knights won 3-2 on a walk-off single by Josh Fields in the 11th inning. Stewart picked a guy off of 2nd and caught the only other attempted base stealer in helping to hold down the other team... Sweeney still out of the line-up. Local product Tommy Gorzelanny (from Evergreen Park, went to Triton College after prepping at Marist HS, selected by Sox in 38th round of 2000 draft but not signed) pitched 1-hit ball with 9 K's for Indianapolis.

Lance Broadway was masterful in a CG 4H shutout in a 2-0 win over Tennessee. 9IP, 4H, 0BB, 7 K, and finished strong retiring the final 12 batters in order. Valido had a great game, going 2-3 with a 2B, 3B, S, RBI, and a BB. Getz and Nanita each went 2-4 with Getz scoring the only Barons runs.

Winston-Salem lost 3-1 despite a decent outing from Russell (6 IP, 3 ER, 0 BB, 5 K). Lucy went 2-3 with a BB and SB and had the only multi-hit game.

Kanny lost 10-1 despite a decent outing from young Daniel Cortes (5 IP, 2 ER, 1 BB, 4 K), but left with 3 runners on and a 1-0 lead only to have Moviel give up all 3 runs and then some. More piss-poor defense with 3 more errors (Whealy with his 8th, Ricks his 7th) Cunningham 1-3 with a BB, Hernandez 2-3, and Sanchez 2-4 had all 5 hits for Kanny...
