Of course she gets off the hook scott free. Ahhhh theres nothing like being in Congress to get you off the hook when you commit a crime.

What I don't get is why they had to convene a grand jury to indite her. I thought the idea behind a grand jury was to make sure the prosecutor had enough evidence to go forward and avoid 'political prosecutions' for non-events. How can the jury say there isn't enough evidence to go forward? I wonder what their racial makeup was?

Yeah it was nice how this was totally buried in the paper too. Little article in the middle of the paper Saturday.

Police Union demands a congressional inquiry into this incident. Frankly I think she should be busted out of Congress and thrown in prison for what she did. Looks like she wont go to prison but at least have the House take disciplinary action against her.
