I needed avg real bad, so i traded carlos lee for derek jeter straight up cuz lee seems to either be heading down or stayin around 270 and it looks like jeter is gonna have a solid year.

I'm not really a fan of trading for average... to me its kinda unpredictable... I mean one player who hits forty points higher than another is not worth that much when you have nine other guys on the team.

 

That said, If you got jeter, the deal is fine. Jeter plays SS, and scores a s***load. They are both fine players... its not the type of deal that is certain to send you over the top, but it may work out for you

Average is based on the whole team and its really just a win or lose category. Its a draw really, one week a player is hot and the next hes in a slump, no easy way to constantly win the avg category, now if its rotisserie then you made a damn good trade.
