June 28, 200619 yr i watched the cubs game after we beat the pirates yesterday and i noticed that zambrano went 2-3 with a two run homer while D-lee went 0-5 with two strikeouts. That had me wonder what the highest a pitcher has batted in a the lineup (not including double switches). I know that jason Marquis on St. Louis does some pinch hitting for them but any pitcher ever batted like a 6 spot or 7 spot (babe ruth doesnt count)
