July 12, 200619 yr http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=373764&cc=5901 Klinsmann steps down in Germany, dare I hope that he will be the next manager of the US squad?
July 12, 200619 yr He is foreign born, preaches offensive football. Is good with getting the best from his strikers. Has experience with the US team. Lives not that far away from the training center near LA. This is such a perfect fit its not even funny. Ditch Arena, get this guy and in 4 years we will do a heck of a lot better than we have done here this year. Jurgen quits as Coach of the Germans
July 12, 200619 yr Provided the US is willing to pay for a top coach, I think Klinsmann will be the US coach. It just makes to much sense for the US side, its clear Arena has gotten them as far as he can take them. They played Italy to a draw, so the talent was there. But when you watched the games it just seemed like the US lacked direction, and many times Arena made questionable coaching decisions. Klinsmann will bring credibility to the US, and hopefully it will pay off in keeping dual citizens in the US, aka a guy like Adu.

Also it would be sweet if we got klinsmann.
