My scoring software gives an option of hit by batted ball. I when scoring by hand use HBB and give the putout to the nearest fielder which would be the catcher in this case.

I wrote a program in High School for scoring a baseball game, but it was text based and writen in C++. Really lame, but fun to write! :)

You Bet, I got it through Baseball Info solutions to be able to do my scoring for Tucson. It is called BIS version 3.26 it is kind of neat. It also has complete rosters (everyone who through the system as well).
