Grindersrule Posted August 27, 2006 Share Posted August 27, 2006 Even though it may turn out to be futile, I refuse to give up my optimistic attitude. I've been a SOX fan for 30 years and have maintained this the entire time. And when they finally came through last year it was SO sweet. I know a lot of you can remember that feeling too. We are facing a tough battle to do it again this year, but it is NOT impossible; and if we do somehow make it, it will that much sweeter knowing that I believed that it was possible all of the way. Facing adversity is not bad. No one will hand us the WC, the division, the AL, or the WS. We will have to battle are own inconsistencies and problems to triumph. Obviously, we posess the talent to make it happen. That is probably why so many of you feel frustrated right now. It is also why I will not give up.
